Ragan takes Brickyard 400 pole

It’s David Ragan, hardly one of NASCAR’s brightest stars, who will lead the field to the green flag in Sunday’s Brickyard 400. Ragan’s qualifying run of 182.994 mph held up through the end of the session. Kasey Kahne, the penultimate qualifier, will start next to him in the first row after a lap of 182.927 mph.
